HELLO

We are a family of three, Mum, (Zarina) dad (Patrick) and Malachy aged 12 and we live in a large Edwardian house in a leafy suburb of north east Birmingham. We are Catholic/Christians. Patrick teaches at the University of Birmingham and Zarina is training to be a play therapist whilst Malachy is at school. Things we like? We love the theatre, (Patrick is also a playwright) visiting National Trust properties and travelling. Malachy is very keen on most sports including football, tennis and swimming. We see ourselves as welcoming and friendly and we have been hosting international students for many years now and all have had a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

What we Offer

We offer a comfortable 3rd floor bedroom that comes with Wifi. There is a shower and w.c next to the room and guests have use of the kitchen to cook meals. The dining room may be used for studying or reading and there is also a pleasant garden for guests to relax in if so desired. We encourage students to participate in family life and will always endeavour to make your stay a happy and memorable one.

Where we Live

We are situated in the north east of Birmingham in a suburb called Erdington. It is very close to Birmingham City Centre via bus or train yet is also very accessible by public transport to places of interest such as the historic cathedral city of Lichfield.
