HELLO

My name is Marion I work as a receptionist for a law firm in Birmingham. I have one son who is married and lives away from home. I have 2 cats that are well behaved and one of them lives outside most of the day. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, gardening, baking and reading. I started hosting international students 10 years ago and have made many friends along the way. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and helping them to practice their English.

What we Offer

What I offer is a clean, comfortable and spacious bedroom with a double bed. There’s a wardrobe for your clothes and a work desk and chair for you to study. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and is kept spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped with all the mods cons including dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine. My kitchen is also a diner with dining table and a relaxing place to chat and eat dinner. At the rear of the house is a conservatory and outdoor space with table and chairs – a great place to unwind after a long day at college.

Where we Live

Where I live there are 3 parks to enjoy especially if you like to get some exercise and good transport connections to Birmingham. Bus numbers 89, 120 and 128 all go to Birmingham City Centre. Also, the train station is only a 12 minute walk from my home and gets you to the city centre quicker than a bus. I will help you to find your way on your first day.
